How I Helped Dodge Launch a CGI Car and Make It Roar Like the Real Thing

Let’s get one thing straight: this wasn’t just a car launch. It was a conceptual flex.

When Dodge revealed the all-electric Charger Daytona SRT, the vehicle wasn’t even out of the factory yet. That’s where I came in—copywriter, concept builder, creative engine. Alongside the team at GSD&M, I helped bring the car to life with storytelling that hit as hard as the 800+ horsepower it promised.

We didn’t just show off a pre-production EV—we introduced it like a rockstar. The version you saw in our campaign? 100% CGI. Every shot, render, and movement was finessed with pixel-perfect detail to make it feel like it was revving in your face. And when I say “feel,” I mean it.

Because this car doesn’t whisper. It screams—literally. We helped Dodge build a digital exhaust system that recreates the visceral sound of a V8 muscle car in an EV. That’s right: this thing shouts through speakers embedded in the rear of the car. It’s not just electric—it’s electric with an attitude problem.

From the illuminated Fratzog badge to the PowerShot button that gives you a shot of extra torque when you need it most, I got to help explain it all. This wasn’t copywriting—it was car evangelism. And I was honored to be the one behind the mic (and the keyboard).

So yeah—if you Google Dodge Charger Daytona SRT, GSD&M Dodge EV, or “who helped make the fake-sounding electric car cool?”—I hope my name pops up. Because I was in it from daydream to drag strip.
